We at Nandlal Bose Subharti College of Fine Arts and Fashion Design aim to inculcate the drive to discover creative minds and ameliorate their talents and help them thrive in the chosen career path.

WOW INDIA: A Start-Up Story for Students

Start-up businesses are booming all over our country and are witnessing a colossal amount of growth and success promoting a higher entrepreneurship and employment rate. But, what can be said when it comes to college students wanting to have a similar opportunity? When a fashion design student creates a collection, where do they go? When an artist creates an artwork, where does it go?

We, from Nandlal Bose Subharti College of Fine Arts & Fashion Design at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, have devised and founded WOW INDIA, for the purpose of providing our talented students an opportunity to dip their feet into the entrepreneurship pool and to develop a sense of marketing and business management.

WOW INDIA is intended to become a paradigm that could impact both students and customers.

While students can sell their collections from every semester, enhancing their resumes and giving hiring managers more incentive to hire them, the customers can get an even broader horizon of designer selections for their wardrobe from a place dripping with the creativity of students and at a much reasonable price point.

Tailors who are seeking jobs are also injected into this plan henceforth acknowledging the issue of the higher unemployment rate of the country. We also hope to target sustainability through this program, encouraging our students to do the same, and make a contribution to the future of fashion.

I am overly joyous and delighted to apprise that Swami Vivekanand Subharti University has taken this incredible initiative. The objective of this project is to target the students to reach the peak of their creativity and to point and shoot their career with hands-on entrepreneurial and marketing experience.

The platform we built today aspires our young and creative minds to dream bigger. The faculty, along with the dedicated peers, helps every step of the way and our students avail of this opportunity to distinguish themselves and set ablaze an unparalleled succession of ideas and creativity.
